Passover Lamb

Can you count to 3?

An evil and adulterous generation seeketh after a sign; and there shall no sign be given to it, but the sign of the prophet Jonas:
For as Jonas was three days and three nights in the whale’s belly; so shall the Son of man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.
The men of Nineveh shall rise in judgment with this generation, and shall condemn it: because they repented at the preaching of Jonas; and, behold, a greater than Jonas is here. Matthew 12:38-41

Yeshua (Jesus) told us clearly here that the sign of his authenticity will be the sign of the prophet Jonah.  Also read Matthew 16 and Luke 11.

Matthew 12:40 clearly tells us that Yeshua would be in the grave THREE DAYS and THREE NIGHTS (72 HOURS).

Jesus was not crucified on 3pm “Good” Friday and then resurrected Sunday morning.

Mathematics clearly proves thisHow does 3 days and 3 nights fit in to a 2 nights and one day time period?

IT DOESN’T!

The Gospel account tells of how the Feast of Passover was a rehearsal for when our Messiah would be offered for the sins of the world. Everything that was done for a thousand years by the Israelites to the Passover Lamb was fulfilled by Yeshua (Jesus) to the minutest detail.

Your glorying is not good. Know ye not that a little leaven leaveneth the whole lump?
Purge out therefore the old leaven, that ye may be a new lump, as ye are unleavened. For even Christ our passover is sacrificed for us:
Therefore let us keep the feast, not with old leaven, neither with the leaven of malice and wickedness; but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth. 1 Corinthians 5:6-8

Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world. John 1:29

And Abraham said, My son, God will provide himself a lamb for a burnt offering: so they went both of them together. Genesis 22:8

In the year our Lord was crucified, the High Sabbath Passover was on a Wednesday evening. The crucifixion happened around 3pm Wednesday.

The Jews therefore, because it was the preparation, that the bodies should not remain upon the cross on the sabbath day, (for that sabbath day was an high day,) besought Pilate that their legs might be broken, and that they might be taken away. John 19:31

It is important to know that God’s calender begins the day starting at Evening (sunset). Genesis 1:2-5.

Just before sunset on Wednesday our Lord Yeshua was put in the tomb.

In the end of the sabbath, as it began to dawn toward the first day of the week, came Mary Magdalene and the other Mary to see the sepulchre.
And, behold, there was a great earthquake: for the angel of the Lord descended from heaven, and came and rolled back the stone from the door, and sat upon it.
His countenance was like lightning, and his raiment white as snow:
And for fear of him the keepers did shake, and became as dead men.
And the angel answered and said unto the women, Fear not ye: for I know that ye seek Jesus, which was crucified.
He is not here: for he is risen, as he said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay. Matthew 28:1-6

3 days and 3 nights later women come to Yeshua’s tomb in the early hours of the first day while it is dark. According to God’s reckoning of time the early hours of the first day is Saturday night and not Sunday morning.

Jesus was crucified and then put in the tomb on the High Sabbath and then resurrected on the weekly Sabbath. There goes the last legs of Sunday church theology.

Jesus taught us during his ministry to keep passover and do it in remembrance of him.

And he took bread, and gave thanks, and brake it, and gave unto them, saying, This is my body which is given for you: this do in remembrance of me. Likewise also the cup after supper, saying, This cup is the new testament in my blood, which is shed for you. Luke 22: 19-20

The Sunday festival is pagan wickedness and presents a false gospel. Do not be deceived.

Accept no substitution for the truth.

Reject paganism and come worship the true God, the God of Israel.

Worthy is the Lamb!

PASSOVER 2014

Sundown tonight on the 14th of the month of the Aviv (April 14 on the pagan calender) is the celebration of the Passover (Pesach), a holy convocation [Leviticus 23].

This day is important to God’s people for two reasons:

Today is the celebration of when God delivered the Israelites out of Egypt.

The people rejoiced and sung “Thy right hand, O YeHoVaH, is become glorious in power: thy right hand, O YeHoVaH, hath dashed in pieces the enemy.” [Exodus 15]

For believers of the Messiah Yeshua (Jesus) this prophetic shadow picture is fulfilled in every detail to the precise moment.

[1 Corinthians 5:7-8]

By the which will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all. And every priest standeth daily ministering and offering oftentimes the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins: But this man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever, sat down on the right hand of God. [Hebrews 10:10-12]

Every year in Jerusalem (prior to the destruction of the temple) everyone came up for the feast. The high priest would then go to the sheep folds of Bethlehem and select the perfect Passover Lamb to sacrifice. The priests would stand in the gate making a path and would cry out “Hosanna to the son of David: Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord; Hosanna in the highest” to the high priest walking the lamb up to the temple. The sound of every one crying out was awesome.

The year of Yeshua’s sacrifice, Yeshua had his disciples stand at the gate as he rode in on a colt. The disciples started to cry out “Hosanna to the son of David: Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord; Hosanna in the highest“. The priests start copying the disciples not realizing their high priest is still out side of the city. Everyone races out of their houses and starts to cry out. Then the priests realize its Jesus. It’s Jesus on a donkey!!! they yelled, and ordered Yeshua to shut his disciples up but he refused.

For four days the Passover lamb is inspected. For four days Yeshua was inquired of by the Pharisees and Sadducees and then Pilate prophetically declares the same words spoken by the high priest after the Passover lamb has been inspected… “I FIND NO FAULT IN HIM”.

Yeshua was then taken out to be crucified that day Wednesday before the Passover Wednesday night. Yeshua then spoke the exact words spoken by the high priest after the final Passover sacrifice is made…”I thirst” and someone gave Yeshua a sponge with vinegar.

Yeshua then lifted up his body with one last breath and cried out the same last words spoken by the high priest after the Passover lamb has been sacrificed… “IT IS FINISHED!”

The Israelites did not want any bodies up on crosses during the High Sabbath so a Roman soldier took a club and broke the crucified men’s legs, but when he got to Yeshua he saw that he was already dead. Yeshua’s legs had not been broken, fulfilling the prophetic shadow picture that not a single bone of the Passover lamb is to be broken. He took a spear and pierced Yeshua’s side and out poured blood and water. The ground had been torn underneath and his blood ran down the crack into the place Jeremiah hid the Ark of the Covenant, anointing the most holy.

That is the moment we where bought and paid for.

What an extrodiary article. I am your average Christian man(57) from Australia. About six months ago I had a dream unlike any other I have ever had. I dreamed the cross used for the crucifixion was above a crack (caused by the earthquake that occurred at CHRIST’S death) and that JESUS blood flowed down the crack to the ark of the covenant. This vision was clear every night and day for months and months, every time I closed my eyes I saw the same vision. As time has progressed I have been led ( by the HOLY SPIRIT) to know (and I am adamantly sure) that THE BLOOD OF CHRIST WAS INFACT DRIPPING ONTO THE MERCY SEAT.
    You quote
” He took a spear and pierced Yeshua’s side and out poured blood and water. The ground had been torn underneath and his blood ran down the crack into the place Jeremiah hid the Ark of the Covenant, anointing the most holy.”
This is my dream but I see it without the body on the cross.

I was raised in a christian church and have attended christian churches all my life. But, there have always been teachings that I’ve struggled with because they appeared to conflict with scripture. I began understanding the bible differently after I started in-depth studies on various topics, while noticing how words were translated from the Greek, about two years ago. Christian churches teach that Jesus was crucified on a Friday, the day before the Sabbath. But, the apostle John makes it clear that Yeshua was crucified on the preparation day for Passover. The day after Passover was another Sabbath, though — the Feast of Unleavened Bread. AFTER the Sabbath, the women followers of Yeshua bought and prepared herbs to anoint Yeshua’s body and, then, again rested on the Sabbath (at sunset Friday). Putting the events recorded by the four Gospel writers together and in sequence, as well as Yeshua’s prediction that he would spend three days and three nights in the belly of the earth, it is IMPOSSIBLE that Yeshua rose on a Sunday (first day of the week). Christian churches also don’t take into account that Hebrew days were calculated from sunset to sunset, not midnight to midnight nor sunrise to sunrise. Thank you for your wise study of the events surrounding Yeshua’s crucifixion and resurrection! I am, hopefully, gaining a better understanding.
